Delete Account Policy

1. Overview

At Donkbdata, we respect your right to control your personal data. Because our Virtual Top-Up (VTU) service requires account registration to facilitate payments and maintain security, we provide a clear mechanism for account deletion in compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR).

2. Eligibility

Only registered account holders aged 18 and older can request account deletion. Accounts belonging to users under 18 will be terminated immediately upon discovery.

Upon verification of your request, the following information will be deleted:

• Account profile details (name, phone number, email address, password)
• Transaction logs (airtime, data, cable TV, and utility payment records)
• Device and usage information

Note: Certain transaction records may be retained in anonymized format where required by statutory tax or financial regulations in Nigeria.

5. Processing Time

Deletion requests are processed within 2 business days after identity verification. A confirmation message will be sent to your registered email once the process is complete.

6. Effect of Account Deletion

Once deleted, your account cannot be recovered. You will lose access to all transaction history, active wallet balances, and preferences. You will need to create a new account to use Donkbdata again in the future.
